Climate Resolve
Climate Resolve, a non-profit organization that connects communities, organizations, and policymakers to address the global problem of climate change with local action, awarded CoolSeal by GuardTop as “The Coolest in LA” for its efforts towards combating the urban heat island effect and mitigating the global heat crisis. CoolSeal was applauded for its innovative, solar-activated engineering, which delivers a higher-performing, long lasting asphalt sealcoat for forward-thinking communities.
The Smart Surfaces Coalition
The Smart Surfaces Coalition is on a similar mission -- to advance urban heat island mitigation policies and programs and to cancel some of the warming effects of climate change through global cooling. The coalition is made up of 40 leading national and international organizations with a shared commitment to enabling and ensuring that Smart Surfaces become the urban design standard globally within a decade.
